BEYOND JERUSALEM

  "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8) We extend a warm welcome to the year 2026, and we pray that it will be filled with glorious and lasting harvests in Jesus name. The Lord has greatly assisted the All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) in achieving significant milestones in 2025. We highlighted some of these accomplishments in our previous edition, and we are grateful to God and our partners across Africa and beyond for their unwavering support. As adopted during the 2025 Executive Council Meeting, our theme for 2025-2027 is "Beyond Jerusalem" (Acts 1:8). Last year, we embarked on this journey, and it received widespread acceptance.   A CALL FOR UNIFIED HUMANITARIAN ACTIONS The All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) is using this medium to call on our Baptist individuals, Churches, Ministries, Conventions, Unions and Associations to join us in responding to the urgent calls from Burundi. Here is the latest call from one of our Baptist bodies in Burundi:   Alert for Congolese refugees in Burundi!!! Dear Rev., AABF Continental President, Happy New Year to you and family. The Baptist Union of Burundi send this alert to AABF to see if you can support us to help Congolese refugees from Eastern in Burundi who fled the country at the end of the last year 2025 due to the war near Burundi. Now they are facing many challenges of food, shelters, cooking items and bad health situations. Particularly children and old people are dying every day. Among them they are Baptists!
