A CALL FOR UNIFIED HUMANITARIAN ACTIONS

The All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) is using this medium to call on our Baptist individuals, Churches, Ministries, Conventions, Unions and Associations to join us in responding to the urgent calls from Burundi.





Here is the latest call from one of our Baptist bodies in Burundi:

 

Alert for Congolese refugees in Burundi!!!

Dear Rev., AABF Continental President,

Happy New Year to you and family.

The Baptist Union of Burundi send this alert to AABF to see if you can support us to help Congolese refugees from Eastern in Burundi who fled the country at the end of the last year 2025 due to the war near Burundi.

Now they are facing many challenges of food, shelters, cooking items and bad health situations. Particularly children and old people are dying every day.

Among them they are Baptists!

Please help us to spread this alert to different Baptist organizations and others. The government and NGOs are overwhelmed by the situation.

Dear Continental family, the situation is not palatable at all, every day that we delay our response could spell doom for the homeless, faced with harsh conditions as stated in the message above. We need to respond now. Do something, mobilize your Churches and communities to also respond. 

Our responsibility is to unite in giving, praying and lending our voices towards finding lasting peace in the affected country and communities to enable these teeming and vulnerable people return home and start life afresh.

2025; THUS FAR HATH THE LORD HELPED US

T he Lord is good, all the time. This year marked a very significant phase in the ministry of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship. We experienced the goodness of God across the four regions and departments of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) under the leadership of our Continental President, Pastor Elias Apetogbo. The Baptist family on the continent travelled length and breadth of the world and our continent doing ministry and we attest to God’s faithfulness. So, like the Psalmist, we say of a truth that ‘’ For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endure to all generations.’’ (Psalm 100:5).   The move of God manifested strongly in the areas of Missions with countless testimonies, the Lord sent forth His Words across Africa through the Youth Mission Year (YMY) project with eight young missionaries settling in Ghana, The Gambia, Guinea Conakry, South Africa and Namibia to win the lost to Christ and Disciple infant Christians to maturity.   Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things subsist.” Our Africa is in turmoil. A general catastrophe with upheaval where the compass struggles to find its bearings. The world is changing upside down. The ubiquity of lies, deception, cunning, duplicity, falsehood, and hypocrisy is almost at its zenith. Betrayal, disappointment, violence, dirty tricks, and attacks are commonplace. Greed, dissatisfaction, avarice, and selfishness are on display.
