DAY 13 PREPARATION GUIDE

AABF GO MONTH – Jesus is the Way

📖 Anchor Scripture: John 14:6

REDISCOVERING YOUR ASSIGNMENT

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…” — Acts 1:8

As we continue this journey of preparation toward GO Month, today calls us to remember something essential:

You are a witness.

Not later. Not when everything feels perfect. Not when you feel fully ready.

Now.



A WORD TO THE BRETHREN PREPARING FOR 2026 GO MONTH

Your calling is not accidental—it is intentional.

Long before this GO Month, God has already positioned you in specific places, among specific people, for a purpose. Your workplace, your neighborhood, your daily interactions—these are not ordinary spaces; they are mission fields.

The question is not whether you have a platform.

The question is: Are you conscious of your assignment?

REFLECTION MOMENT

Take time today to think deeply:

·       Where has God placed me right now?

·       Who are the people I interact with daily?

·       Have I been intentional about representing Christ in these spaces?

·       Do I see my environment as a mission field or just a routine?

·       How is God expecting me to respond during the GO Month?

Let the Holy Spirit begin to open your eyes to opportunities you may have overlooked.

PREPARATION FOCUS

As GO Month approaches, begin to adjust your mindset:

·       Be intentional — Start seeing every day as an opportunity for witness

·       Be aware — Pay attention to people who may be open to conversation

·       Be available — Position yourself to be used by God in simple, everyday moments

You do not need a stage to be a witness.

You only need a willing heart.

PRAYER

Lord,

Thank You for calling me to be Your witness.
Open my eyes to see the opportunities around me.
Help me to become more aware of the people You have placed in my life.
Remove distractions and awaken a fresh sense of purpose within me.
As I prepare for GO Month, make me ready—spiritually, mentally, and intentionally.

Use my life for Your glory.

Amen.

FINAL CHARGE

This is a season of awakening.

Do not wait for GO Month to start before you become conscious of your mission.

Begin to see differently. Begin to think differently.

Because where you are right now…
is exactly where your witness is needed.

2025; THUS FAR HATH THE LORD HELPED US

T he Lord is good, all the time. This year marked a very significant phase in the ministry of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship. We experienced the goodness of God across the four regions and departments of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) under the leadership of our Continental President, Pastor Elias Apetogbo. The Baptist family on the continent travelled length and breadth of the world and our continent doing ministry and we attest to God’s faithfulness. So, like the Psalmist, we say of a truth that ‘’ For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endure to all generations.’’ (Psalm 100:5).   The move of God manifested strongly in the areas of Missions with countless testimonies, the Lord sent forth His Words across Africa through the Youth Mission Year (YMY) project with eight young missionaries settling in Ghana, The Gambia, Guinea Conakry, South Africa and Namibia to win the lost to Christ and Disciple infant Christians to maturity.   Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things subsist.” Our Africa is in turmoil. A general catastrophe with upheaval where the compass struggles to find its bearings. The world is changing upside down. The ubiquity of lies, deception, cunning, duplicity, falsehood, and hypocrisy is almost at its zenith. Betrayal, disappointment, violence, dirty tricks, and attacks are commonplace. Greed, dissatisfaction, avarice, and selfishness are on display.
